1. Who we are and who this policy covers
EdgeWarden is developed and licensed by Manager Pro, a brand of MYROUTER SOLUÇÕES E TREINAMENTOS, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 22.761.749/0001-94, located at Ponte Alta Norte, Gama, Brasília - DF, 72426-035, Brazil. For the data described here, Manager Pro is the controller under Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 (the General Data Protection Law, or LGPD).
This policy applies to:
- visitors to this website;
- people who request a demo or contact our sales team;
- people who apply to the partner program;
- customers, regarding the activation and verification of the software license.
It does not cover the data EdgeWarden processes inside the customer's installation, such as flows, IP addresses and panel users. That data stays on the customer's server, and the customer is its controller (see section 4).
2. What the website collects
Browsing
This is a static website. It has no sign-up or login, sets no cookies and uses no audience analytics or advertising pixels. If any of these is added, this policy will be updated first, and anything that requires consent will only run after you accept it.
The provider that hosts the website may log technical data for each request (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser) for security and troubleshooting. Where the law requires it, these logs are kept for the period set by Brazil's Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014).
Google Fonts
The website's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver the files, Google receives the IP address and browser details of whoever opens the page. That processing follows the Google Privacy Policy.
Demo and contact form
The form on the contact page does not send anything to a server of ours and does not store what you type. When you submit it, your browser builds a message from the filled-in fields and opens WhatsApp or your e-mail program. Nothing leaves your computer until you confirm the message in that app yourself.
The fields are: name, company, business e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, ASN (optional), traffic volume, edge routers (optional), plan of interest and message (optional). The form does not ask for passwords or access to your equipment, and we ask you not to send them.
When the message reaches us over WhatsApp or e-mail, we use the data only to reply, prepare the demo and the evaluation license, and send the commercial proposal.
Partner program application
The application on the Become a partner page works the same way: it does not send anything to a server of ours and does not store what you type. When you submit it, your browser builds the message and opens WhatsApp; if you prefer, you can send it from your e-mail program instead. Nothing leaves your computer until you confirm the message in that app yourself.
The fields are: country, state or province, company, company website (optional), name, job title (optional), work e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, partnership type, how many ISPs you work with, equipment you work with (optional), whether you have an opportunity right now, and message (optional). To submit, you also tick the box allowing us to contact you. The form does not ask for passwords or access to your equipment or your customers' equipment, and we ask you not to send them.
When the application reaches us, we use the data only to review it, reply and talk with you about the partnership.
Links to other websites
The website links to the Customer area (license.managerpro.dev.br), to WhatsApp and to other services. Each of them has its own privacy rules.
3. What the license server receives
EdgeWarden is activated on Manager Pro's license server (license.managerpro.dev.br). After activation, the license is verified on the customer's own server through an Ed25519 digital signature, and the software confirms the license once every 24 hours (heartbeat). If it loses contact, it keeps working for a 30-day grace period.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| License key | Identify the license, plan, quotas and expiry date. |
| Hardware identifier | Bind the license to the server and limit the number of activations. It is a SHA-256 hash computed from the machine-id, the factory MAC addresses of the physical network cards and the CPU. The license server receives only the hash, not the original values. |
| Software version | Check compatibility and provide support and updates. |
| Date and time of activation and of each heartbeat | Confirm the license is in use and track the 30-day grace period. |
| Source IP address of the connection | Recorded in the license server logs for security and fraud prevention. |
In the Customer area we also process registration and billing data: company name, CNPJ, name, e-mail and phone of the person in charge, the contracted plan and payment history.
The license server does not receive flows, IP addresses of your network or your subscribers, router configurations, credentials or data about panel users.
4. What stays on your server
EdgeWarden is installed on the customer's server (self-hosted). NetFlow, IPFIX and sFlow flows, traffic history, detected attacks, configuration, panel users and router credentials stay on that server. Manager Pro has no access to them.
The customer is the controller of that data. Subscriber IP addresses can be personal data, and the customer is responsible for handling them in line with the LGPD in its own operation.
If the customer gives the Manager Pro team remote access for assisted installation or support, the team uses that access only for the requested task and acts as a processor, following the customer's instructions.
Data that leaves only when you configure it
Some features send information off the server, but only if the customer turns them on and chooses the destination:
- AI provider (optional): the customer chooses the provider. The model receives only the evidence numbers of an attack or a routing decision, never the raw flow. With a local model, such as Ollama, nothing leaves the server.
- Notifications: e-mail, Telegram, Slack, webhooks and SNMP traps, to the destinations the customer registers.
- Syslog and SIEM: events in CEF, JSON or RFC 5424 to the collector the customer specifies.
- External mitigation: BGP announcements and diversion requests to the mitigation or scrubbing provider the customer contracts.
In these cases, the customer decides what is sent and is responsible for its relationship with each provider.
5. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering contact and demo requests and partner program applications: preliminary steps toward a contract, at the data subject's request (LGPD, art. 7, V).
- Activating and verifying licenses, billing and support: performance of the contract (art. 7, V).
- Protecting the website and the license server and preventing license misuse: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
- Keeping tax and access records: compliance with a legal obligation (art. 7, II).
- Defending rights in legal proceedings: regular exercise of rights (art. 7, VI).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
6. Who we share data with
We share data only when necessary for the purposes above:
- hosting and infrastructure providers for the website and the license server;
- payment platforms used to bill licenses;
- WhatsApp (Meta) and e-mail providers, when you contact us through those channels;
- our accountants, for tax obligations;
- public authorities, when required by law or court order.
7. International transfers
Some of these services, such as Google Fonts, WhatsApp and e-mail or hosting providers, may process data outside Brazil. In those cases, the transfer follows the conditions of article 33 of the LGPD.
8. How long we keep data
- Contact, demo and partner application messages: for the duration of the negotiation and up to 2 years after the last contact, if no contract follows.
- License and billing data: for the term of the contract and 5 years after it ends, for tax obligations and the defense of rights.
- Heartbeat records and license server logs: up to 12 months.
- Website access logs: for the period set by the Internet Civil Framework, where applicable.
After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
Communication with the license server is encrypted (HTTPS), licenses are signed with Ed25519 and the hardware identifier arrives as a hash. Access to customer data is limited to the staff who need it.
No system is completely immune to failures. If a security incident could cause significant risk or harm to data subjects, we will notify Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the affected data subjects, as required by article 48 of the LGPD.
10. Your rights
Under article 18 of the LGPD, you may request at any time:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in breach of the law;
- portability of the data to another provider;
- information about who we share your data with;
- deletion of data processed on the basis of consent, and withdrawal of that consent;
- objection to processing carried out on another legal basis, if it breaches the LGPD.
To exercise these rights, write to contato@myrouter.com.br. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with the ANPD.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, the product or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. Changes that matter to customers will also be announced by e-mail.
